Always use the console when learning a new feature. work backwards from there.
The cli/CFN docs can read like magic spells and are infuriatingly sparse with straight forward examples.
Also, is it worth the time to script?

It's a hell of a lot easier to click Run Pipeline in EC2 Image Builder than whatever arcane setup is supposed to make that work in CDK/CloudFormation.
