I almost wouldn't mind it stealing from creators if it actually found the best coupons, but, amazingly enough, even THAT is a scam. They've been screwing the creators AND the consumers. How is anyone ever going to take PayPal seriously again?

It's hard to weigh up wanting the best deal and supporting your fav creators... depends on your financial situation I suppose. In that case it may not be stealing since you're looking for the best deal? Idk doesn't sit that well with that wording but yeah, it was all a scam in the end anyway

I remember a lot of youtubers getting sponsored by them a few years back and I wondered what the catch was it seemed a little too good to be true in my opinion. Didn't know it was stealing money though that's crazy!

The catch is sooo sneaky! Replacing cookies behind the scenes, it's like a virus since once it's installed it will steal from every purchase made from then on :( I think this is one of the most evil scams to ever happen to creators ngl

Oof... that's VERY evil that they steal from your purchases. I was reading a bit about it and sometimes the codes Honey gives out are actually worse than certain other sites that do similar things. Sucks that they hide that to make it look better than it really is.

Seems like it's in their interest to reduce the saving to the customer so the brand will be pleased =/ So customers get screwed over too! Wonder how many brands chose not to do sponsorships because they knew what Honey was doing

Oof that's very anti consumer and secretly makes the brands who agree to the deal more money that seems like it would kind of damage the reputation of the brands who associated with Honey and reduce trust from customers. At least some brands might be smart enough to not go through with that deal.
