At one time, Wikipedia was one of the most unreliable sources to go to. They cracked down and started forcing editors to state their sources and it quickly became one of the most reliable sources of information

Sure, there are some..questionable entries spread around still, but it’s still a pretty good site to go to. A billion times better (at absolute minimum) than the AI overview crap that search engines are forcing people to read now
“Potentially incorrect” is a weird way to put it (though technically true). I saw a post on twatter a bit ago with the AI telling someone to use a steamer or a hot iron to remove wrinkles from their testicles lmao
For -some- of those you have to ask the questions a very specific way to get those results, people are messing it up on purpose.
That said, even the accurate ones can lack nuance that reading a whole article can give.
To be fair to your statement, this particular one was worded in a way to get a response, but to be fair to myself, the question was “can you […]” and the answer was “yes, you can […]”
