Thank you - it's nice to scratch that writing itch but I'm very aware that when it comes to the actual football itself, there are many more out there with much deeper knowledge than myself.

But I'll write again, if they'll have me, on areas I feel equipped enough to write about.

Thanks John. I think society is changing and we tend to think of how our actions impact others more - but it may be a while. Ultimately, the only thing we need do it support. No player improved as a result of abuse.

One of the Moneyball methods was buying players cheap because they were good but didn't look like stars.

I wonder sometimes if fans see football the same. Miggy scores a dozen goals in a season but fans don't rate him because he looks like a bullied school kid.
