Spent a day posting on Bluesky. Basically just copy-pasting what we already do on Twitter. Extra followers gained: almost none. Feels pretty pointless so far. Convince us to stay before we float away. 🚀 #Bluesky

🤷♀️You are just 2 days active. Please give it some time. Giving up after 2 days is giving up way too fast. If you don't sow and don't give it water, light, and time, things will never grow. If the twitter cyclity is on blue-sky, i definitely leave X.
You are running your business, so I'm not going to say "leave the other place" if it brings you the audience and money.
However, I'd suggest to grow your space here as well.
Bluesky is still relatively young and small.
But I believe it's a space where longterm potential is much better.
Bluesky is a very different place. If you want to maximize return from it, you really need to learn (or ask someone to help you learn) the basics. Algorithmic boosting is almost nonexistent, so you need to time the posts carefully. You need to get retweets, you want in on lists, starter packs, etc.
“Convince us to stay before we float away.”
Give followers some time.
And how about the fact that Twitter is full of malign bots, with a rigged algorithm, owned by a fascist who’s trashing the U.S. constitution, firing 1000s of good people & stealing our data for personal gain?
You Ok with that?
I understand it’s not an easy business decision to move to Bluesky & risk losing followers, but you need to be going in this direction for your peace of mind. Build a strong presence here and let people over there know you’re on BlueSky. The cycling community here is growing by leaps & bounds.
In my experience, much less so than over there, and on BlueSky it’s easy to place a hard “block” on a-holes so they can never see nor interact with your posts again. That’s a big difference.
It’s still a young platform. When I joined it was like being in an echo chamber. It’ll get there.
Speaking as a massive cycling nerd, we need you here!
Thank your engagement on this topic. Please could you use your "clout" to encourage more riders/teams over here? It would be great to see them, as well as good news for you 😊
Take your time to warn the community. For a while post messages in both places... and when you have found most of your community on Bluesky it will be time to stop posting here.
Do you feel like supporting a platform owned by a fascist and a platform that supports fascism and other forms of hate? At some point you have to draw a line and show you have morals
FWIW I didn't follow PCS on TwX but I wanted to help bulk up the numbers for cycling accounts here. Every time I open that other app, which isn't often, I feel dirty. Elmo = Cancer.
Stick with it. Get added to @kris.to Pro Cycling starter pack which is where newcomers find cycling posters. And maybe accept a "Cycling Media" label too. Lots to learn 😉
Stick with it. Cycling is not huge on here yet, but it will get there and you have more followers than most of the pro teams.
It's all organic growth through word of mouth and seeing a following's repost or reply that will get you more followers. And fewer bots per 100 followers.
Funny, I asked you a few weeks ago about moving here and you said “nah” with a joke. Found you immediately when you started here. It is slow, but the community is growing. Spread your wings a bit.
I had never heard of you before. I haven't been on Twitter in over a decade. I mean copying and pasting is hard, but do you want new revenue? Sometimes, you will have to do hard things to advance your business. I am less likely to check out your site after this post.
Didn't know you were here. And maybe expecting things to change in 1 day (on a day when there was no live racing except lowly Rwanda) may be a little shortsighted.
Thank you! I really enjoy your website! And the “game”! I like Bluesky a lot more than x so I hope you stay and leave x. I wish more wt and WWT teams were here but many commentators I enjoy are here and they mention bluesky and PCS during broadcasts. Cheers!
Twitter (X) has become more and more toxic and troll-centric. Of course you will find a bit of that on Bluesky as well, but it seems to be a much "friendlier" environment so far, perhaps only because it is much "smaller" so far. I try only to follow my "Following" feed.
Pros and cons I guess...
Twitter is not an option after Musks actions over the past months and probably longer than that. But you go ahead support the fascist to preserve your 100k followers. I guess we will know soon enough what is most important for you.

That way, no copying and pasting, and not supporting the platform of a fascist idiot either.
Simples!
I might even add that I won’t pay for pcs premium anymore if you keep supporting Elmo.
Even more importantly, Bluesky is a place where you can disagree with civility.
The cycling base is building fast, the longer you leave it, the more work it will take.

Up the good work.
From what I've seen from you so far, you care only about reach 🤷♀️
That's one way to keep users to support nazi social.
Bluesky is growing.
Just keep posting and you will get more followers.
Pros and cons I guess...
From personal experience, engagement is better here and any content is appreciated more
