Day 2 #witchmadness
#witches do you have an alter? My partner and I created a witch room with a working table and areas to use but our alter is where we set our offerings and set sabbath rituals. Itβs where I kneel for mother #hekate to connect with her! Do you use one for your craft? #witchsky π₯π

My main on is on my mantle. I love having it about a fireplace β€οΈβπ₯. It is facing East.
I also love having one in each of the four directions, and outside ones.
My husband and I have several altars throughout the house, including a special one for our house spirit. Our primary altars we have set up as masculine altar and feminine altar. I hope my use of binary does not offend, as that is not my intention.
One for each of the deities (I'm a devotional polytheist), plus one for the Nature Spirits and a massive one for my Ancestors and Sacred Dead.
-I have multiple altars for different requests.
-An altar is a portal that opens access.
And my mentor's travelling alterbox is under the main alter. 2 Ancestor shrine cabinets, and the main house alter, presided over by Bast & Herne.
I have a working altar in my bedroom. I apply my daily protection there, meditate and practice Reiki in front of my altar.
I have a mini altar in my living room, really just representation of the elements. I light a candle at the moon phases there.
