And of course Putin artfully framed the invasion as part of stopping NATO's eastward expansion, so sending troops in would be, in a way, validating that narrative. Personally, I think that once the current peace proposals have been exhausted, Europe should say enough is enough and send in forces.

So after Zapad in autumn they can withdraw their military through Narva or Vilnius from Belarus and Batka from Bulbostan would have 0 issues with that. Not reassuring to say the least.
