Do you shoot RGB and convert for web? If I'm correct the camera captures everything it's capable of and the RGB / sRGB setting is what it exports. I shoot sRGB, but wonder if

Thank you so much, John! If you shoot in RAW, it does not make a difference. You set the color space in your RAW converter after you took the short. If you shoot in JPEG it is different, then your in camera choice of color space is decisive. For prints you definitely should use RGB images, but...

I have a Dell 32" 4K monitor. If I understand correctly DCI-P3 colour-space is somewhere between RGB and sRGB, probably good enough for my purposes.

100% Rec 709, 100% sRGB, 98% DCI-P3

I don't really know about the DCI-P3 color space, but it seems to be for video editing, it is more than sRGB but not RGB, and included colors RGB does not: https://www.benq.com/en-us/knowledge-center/knowledge/what-is-dci-p-color-space.html

You also need to calibrate your monitor and ideally also your printer.
