Why is the government afraid of Reform ? Their only policy is against immigration, so who will vote for them? Only racists, those who cannot tell the difference between lies and truth, and those who "want to give someone else a chance"! Do the the majority of voters fit into these categories ?
You might be able to find out if there are any laws limiting the size of a countries' embassy?
If not, Ukraine can temporarily 'give' different areas to other countries. It would be a huge step if Russia attacked Kiev, if all of Kiev was the British Embassy. Carve it all up & make them attack NATO
Europe needs to ditch Nato and club together for its own defence. Only now with the EU do we have the strength to do that. For too long Nato has been the American Foreign Legion, paying to enforce America's foreign policy.
Although presumably the supposed big pullout from Europe that Trump favours doesn't include getting rid of the 34 military installations and bases the US has in Europe? Or what will they be for?
Excellent speech, Britain needs to rejoin Europe, America is being ruled by incompetent oligarchs who are aligned with Putin rather than the west.
We are no longer a democracy.
The path forward is simple; Don’t react to what the US says, simply hit them where it hurts. Let’s start by boycotting everything (http://www.krysstal.com/democracy_whyusa_boycott.html ) and then systematically work our way all the way up, and removing the US dollar as the world reserve currency.
In a world being turned upside down by Trump, the UK needs the EU for economic purposes and the EU needs the UK for security reasons. Feels like the perfect time to do a deal to benefit both sides
Absolutely right. It is so frustrating how the government keeps chaining us to the Brexit anchor. I hope events in the US focus their minds in the right direction - and expose Farage as the quisling he undoubtedly is.
And now putin ups the nuclear threat by attacking chernobyl. This is as good as a nuclear attack. Nato countries except USA need to get real and get into Ukraine as peace keeping force
Bit bloody late isn't it. This should all have happened in 2022. Instead we got Macron with his phone calls to Putin, Scholtz sending helmets instead of weapons, Austria's FM inviting Vlad the Invader to her wedding. Only Estonia, Finland and the Baltic states showed any resolve.
Fucking pathetic.
Why does Europe behave as if they're paralysed while waiting for the next idiot edict from the US? As every parent knows, you ignore the trantrum and once it has passed they may sit at the table with you if they behave.
Isn't one of the benefits of Brexit being that the more we ignore these "defence concerns" (and save money) the more the Europeans will be forced to get their act together?
Britain on its own can not stand up against US corruption and Trump will screw us over if left unchecked. We need the EU and the EU needs us. Together as an economic and mutual defence block we can hold our own against US, Russia and China.
Me to. The writing has been on the wall, but politicians rarely act until forced. The conservatives were too focused on a US free trade agreement and moving right to styme reform. Labour had heads in sand hoping for common sense to prevail. Trump has no friends and wants stooges rather than allies
We need a real response force w/o the US that cannotbetrustedanymore. That includes all the democratic countries in Europe. Even the neutral Swiss for the medical force. We need to have a military industry in case we don't receive the upgrade on American arms.
Please don’t use AI for key images. Honestly, even your own doodle would feel more honest in this case. Using AI to edit existing/commissioned images is fine, but this all-out fake slop looks awful and extremely cheap

Guys, the Cold War ended.
We are no longer a democracy.
Not good enough
This will lose labour the 2029 election.
Fucking pathetic.
And this starts in Ukraine which will be part of EU and NATO
If Ukraine looses then it's back to 1985 when we had 5%GDP on defense and 60k troops in Germany.
⬆️ aid and a full commitment to put a British division of 25k troops in Ukraine is key
Then it's support for Japan, Philippines etc
