Turns out that Sean Baker and Samantha Quan met Alex Coco here at the Aero Theater. He came up to them after a screening and told them he wanted to work with them - and they ended up hiring him as Sean’s assistant on Florida Project. He did great and then became a producer on Red Rocket. Dang!
Really wanted to stay for Red Rocket too but it’s gonna be ending too late for me tonight - but I ended up getting the very last copy of the #Anora poster they were giving out, featuring the cover art for the movie’s upcoming Criterion Collection 4K, as I was leaving.
