He won't even have to. Even if the Senate passed it and the House passed it, I can't see the current GOP providing enough votes to overturn a Trump veto.

Though I guess it's a good idea to have the legislation written for when things get bad enough that even the GOP is considering abandoning him.

I called Cantwell’s office to ask if it had retroactive effect and the answer was, “we don’t know.” If Dems are serious, they need to introduce legislation that terminates the Trump tariffs to date.
