If we're honest, Merkel was the leader of the free world for a while. Scholz has the ability to be the same, more so than Macron, and Starmer is too weak an orator or diplomat, not to mention his ideological 'fluidity.' Sort of ironic that in WWIII, the Germans will be the good guys.
