I started playing Automata around a former friend who couldn't see past "sexy girl killing robots." I told him it was so much deeper than that. Then he saw me playing Replicant and was like "Wait, how is this NieR?" and I'm like "Give it an effing chance, why don't you?" But he preferred ignorance.
