A socializing tip: While some artists don't mind comparison, we're not mind readers. It's best to focus on complimenting the art itself. If you do /have/ to compare (which of course, you don't /have/ to, you're /choosing/ to), say why the comparison excites you & what's unique about the artwork. 1/2

Like, you were never in an anabolic chamber before this day. It might feel annoying but also you might just have caught the zeitgeist.
I recognize that other artists may not want that, and never make that comparison.
