SNK obviously didn't have a choice and were forced to put the rapist into the game but the rest of the FGC doesn't have to play along. They can call SNK/Saudi Arabia out and also just not cover the game, and yet most of the "big" names continue to do so. Disheartening to say the least...

When I was walking through Panama City we came across some kids playing a pick up game in an empty lot. I told my so. “Hey look, they’re playing soccer” and a 12 year old runs up to me and says “it’s called futbol, cabron!” Put that kid in this game with the exact move set and you’ll move 30m units.

That’s the most obnoxious part, fighting games are historically really into going “we put [person] in the game but filed the serial numbers off”, which also adds a buffer against the real life inspiration not being someone you want to have associated with your product

Well adding them was a decision by the Saudi Arabian gov since they own SNK but it sucks regardless. Also every other character I think looks way better visually and animation wise so I don’t know what happened here.
