That was my first try:
"Your search - can you suppress ai responses in search -ai - did not match any documents."
It doesn't really matter. I just scroll past the AI Overview without paying any attention to the contents. I just thought the result from "-AI"was pretty funny!
Appreciate not everyone wants features like AI Overviews. That's why we offer the Web filter at the top of the page. Using -AI isn't turning that particular feature off. It's simply that using an operator with *any* word might do that.
Also if you do -AI in a query, it means the Web results you get won't match anything with that word, which might not be what some are wanting. That's how the negative operator works with any word.
Also, here's an example of where the Web filter appears. It can move around (like any filter) based on the exact query that's used. If it's not immediately visible, then use More to access it. Tapping Web disables all search features -- you just get "blue link" web results.
No need for quotes around the whole thing. Make sure the -AI doesn't have a space in between the "-" (negative sign) and the "AI". And keep the -AI at the end of your query. Still working for me - let me know if you get it to work for you.
+1. I also encourage students to use the "web" or "news" filter (depending on needs) under the google search bar to remove the AI, forum, and other clutter from results. Surprising how many folks don't even notice those options.
