for one thing, it appears for the near future we will likely have a situation where if you’re trans and in the military, you just be on a constantly seesaw of “is it a Dem or Republican in the White House and do I have a job currently”

Can Congress pass a law saying that a person’s sexual orientation or expression can not be a factor in determining their fitness to serve? Or can only the military do that?
If Congress can do it, the Dems should propose legislation. It will not pass, but it will be ready to go when Dems take over.

You can’t pull someone’s visa/green card for exercising first amendment rights.
You can’t cancel existing contracts.
You can’t take any war-like actions against any country without Congressional approval.
Everything they do should be countered.
