Yeah, some people might just be permanently too high on their own supply.

(I did read an article that there’s some evidence it can change hearts and minds, but it may have been somewhat anecdotal)

It had a permanent, positive effect on my heart and mind. And kicked my depression into remission. But I was already a kind and open-minded person. It made me a better version of who I was, but the raw materials were already there. Mushrooms can't build something from nothing.
