Sorry to hear that. The point is the war on drugs stopped all medical research on psychedelics. Don't tell me methamphetamine has medical use and psilocybin does not.
Ibogaine, a psychedelic, could have saved your brother and his drug addiction. Government policy killed your brother not the drugs.
My nephew played at a music festival as he had done countless times before. But this time he came back thinking the grateful dead family and the FBI were after him and that they were going to kill his family to punish him.
Tried two mental health facilities, they each kept him a week and then released him. After about a month my brother in law found him hanging in his front yard from a tree my grandfather planted. That's why my sister isn't having thanksgiving this year.
Exactly how does a psychedelic save someone from an addiction? I know there has been limited research with mixed results, I would enjoy reading studies that can show Ibogaine as a mitigation for addiction.
Research is limited due to the war on drugs. There were products on the market post world war 2 but they were pulled in the 50's-60's out of fear psychedelic drugs and their potential for misuse and addiction 🙄.
