A reminder now that I've put up the race clock on the sheet. Loop 2 cutoff is NOT 24 hours. (Although that would be the pace for the full 100 miles). Rather it's 26:40 since that's 2/3 of a 40h fun run. #bm100

So is there the 12h cut off for each loop or is it just an average from 60 hours/5 loops?
If they come after 24h cutt off, they can finish only the fun run?
Loop 1 cutoff is 13:20
Loop 2 cutoff is 26:40
Loop 3 cutoff is 40:00 for the fun run or 36:00 if you want to continue
Loop 4 cutoff is 48:00
Loop 5 cutoff is 60:00
So the cutoffs change pace halfway through, but there is only one cutoff per loop except the third
No, you just get a bit more time to finish a fun run. The 12hr per loop figure isn’t a hard cutoff just estimate of pace one needs to be on to make 5 loops. In reality you need to be much faster early and then hold on for dear life!
I understand that, but the 12 hr figures floating around there only apply to starting a fourth loop before 36 hours expire. There are plenty of loop times well over 12 hours, some epically long, where Fun Run finishes are still possible.
I'm curious if that is indeed the case, I don't think there's ever been someone with a time above 24 hours after loop 2 finishing loop 3 within 36 hours.
