They are trying to create language that continues to promote DEI while allowing schools to obey the laws forbidding affirmative action language in their admissions policies.
Affirmative Action was decided by SCOTUS in June of 2023. As lawyers and the ABA, SCOTUS is the final word on the law. So, yes, they will comply with the law. Schools have to. But the ABA values DEI and is trying to figure out language that isn't Affirmative Action but still promotes diversity.
What I don't get is why you're arguing that revisiting language to allow law schools to comply with the language of the law while still opposing the spirit of the law is not a form of resistance.
Using their stupid, squishy language against them IS resistance. 1/2
When it comes to fighting laws that are immoral, unethical, and inhumane, we're going to need the lawyers. We're also going to need writers, artists, and organizers. Doctors, teachers, soldiers, truckers... everyone. All forms of friction are necessary.

Wtf. READ IT.
“Allowing schools to obey” is bullshit.
It doesn’t refute Trump & Musk but mitigates some if the damage. This won’t cut it.
When the Death Camps get “approved” by SCOTUS… will you comply?
Or will you grow a spine?

I understand you feel okay with this, but would have been enough during Trump I.
Trump II has already flaunted the Law and gone FULL fascist. It is no longer an option to dawdle.
