I don't believe in heaven or a god but I think there should at least be some sort of paradise for those who suffered slowly, painfully, and -- most crucially -- unjustly after they were forced to endure such horror.

There's no mercy in those fates. There's no mercy in a god that watches idly while its creations suffer.
