It was the first things I read this morning and appreciated Heather's insight she brings to this important topic. I also appreciate the use of the words "Christian Nationalist" to define who this new administration/movement inside the USA really is. It's true, so we might as well use the words.

This is off-topic bec I don't know how to reach Ms Richardson. A graphic has been circulating in local groups urging economic shutdown 2/28. But *this* version of it has Heather Cox Richardson's name on it in numerous places, implying endorsement. Is she really promoting shutdown? Doesn't look right

I admit I started reading this last night. I just had to put it down. Professor Richardson has been keeping me going for several years now. I read first few paragraphs then went to the last because she usually leaves us with some hope. Hope is fading 😔

The ones I know are taking a “all politicians are corrupt” stance. Even when I ask for equivalent examples, I have to ask if they truly think it’s the same.
