Guilt tripping people is mostly counter-productive.
I suggest another tack, where you appeal to them in the grounds of environmental impact, and try to persuade them that a more vegan diet is not only a better choice, but one they can really enjoy.

/2 …post re environment, and trust me, nonVegan environmentalists are quick to block. If there was 1 way to break through to people, 1 of the 88 million Vs who exist would have cracked the code by now. Veganism requires fundamental change and people are extremely defensive as a result.

I hear you, but again, I’ve personally tried every approach and I see reactions to various other styles of advocacy on a daily basis. Reactions tend to be similar the minute someone feels they’re being asked to be personally accountable.
