2003 my prof Terri Hackett asked me about a cut I made in my canvas. Stretcher was showing. She said make the glimpse of stretcher intentional, “reward people for looking closely.” Brilliant! I added a doodle to the peek of stretcher. That critique has informed my art #decisions #marchmeetthemaker25
