I’m from Toronto, grew up a Leafs fan. I would never root for another hockey team, because I’m super loyal to the team that represents my city. If the GM makes dumb moves, the fanbase and media would chew him out. The GM knows that so there is an incentive to satisfy the fans, to have a good team
