Correction, you wouldn't need a different mobo if you went with the 7700x. I got my sockets confused for a sec.

As far as cases go, I personally love the Tower series from thermaltake. Tons of colors, lots of space, and everything is super visible. The only downside imo is the way I/o cables have to be managed
