1st time in 3 years we put up the tree. Mom was declining from Parkinson’s so I spent those last Christmases with her, 13 hours from home. She left us in Feb. Such a painful year, was gonna just do the lights, but each ornament reminded me of a word in our story so I put them on after all. Peace.
