I would say look for scenes that suit stronger contrast as it has lovely deep rich blacks.

I chose XP2 for this ongoing project due to its ability to handle varying light without pushing or pulling. Almost one year in now and it does seem to be delivering on that promise!

I haven't used XP2 for many years but 800 will give thin negs. 👎 Being a chromogenic film (C-41 technology), it performs better being overexposed - ISO 200-250 provides finer grain & better shadow detail yet it will still retain highlight detail better than trad silver films.

Ilford, I love you guys (and use a lot of your products), but marketing film latitude as if it were some kind of variable speed is not so cool. You can shoot *anything* at different speeds and process the roll in a standard way; the question is what results you will get.
