Without giving Horde races, which are typically evil in other fantasy settings, time in the spotlight as heroes, they make it feel like literally any other fantasy world.
What other world am I gonna go to if I wanna see an Orc as a hero? Or a minotaur? Or a troll? That kinda shit is what makes Warcraft unique and Blizzard really is just like "Nah let's be generic"
It's not good.
And I think because a lot of fans (and maybe even the newer writers) like characters like Anduin & the Elves (take your pick on which kind) they'll get pushed more and more to the forefront.
