My family back in Louisiana will frequently point out how high sales tax is here in Ontario. They tied us years ago, and it looks like they're going to pass us up. Incredible.

Wonder how much of that increased revenue is going to go to the places and people that need it.

Not sure it is any nicer than when I got here in 1985, but yes, I love it here. On tax issues I would prefer to tax the rich than have sales tax land on the poor.
