I have sent letters + calls to my UCP MLA and have yet to ever receive a response. I sent one today regarding this and I was wondering, what can we do if they don't want to actually acknowledge us?

For someone supposedly working for the people, it's frustrating not being acknowledged by them.

I can imagine that that's super frustrating! Don't let up. Keep sending them and feel free to CC the relevant Shadow Minister in the NDP (in this specific case, Sarah Hoffman). You can also call them and turn up to any public events like coffee time, etc. But, the most important thing you can do

imho, is talk to your neighbours. Make sure they know what's going on and that their MLA isn't responding. You can encourage them to reach out as well.

Appreciate it. And yeah I have been encouraging who I can to do the same and flood the inbox/phone lines when possible.

Still, I know I shouldn’t be surprised, but they don’t want to respond unless it’s something about oil and gas 😬

Fr!! NDP from Edmonton has been out here and active and I have yet to ever see the UCP MLA? Idk man maybe I live under a rock but still. To me that really says something. They have gone above and beyond outside their constituencies and I can’t even get a hold of the one in charge here 🤷
