No, I get that. But the thing is, the others were just as cruel, they were simply more diplomatic, or better at public speaking. More discreet. But they murdered a ton of people in the name of "freedom" and, of course, oil. But yeah, I know what you mean. I'm not dismissing your concerns.

Politicians by their nature and positions are almost universally bad, and we live in a sliding scale of grays... but I think it's okay to see a difference between one person's evils and another person's fewer/lesser evils. Both suck, but if I have to choose, I go with the latter.

I think trump is exponentially worse for people the world over than anything we've seen before at least in my lifetime, but still yep, if we don't engage with the absolute horror show this country has always been then we're not going to be able to put a stop to this shit.
