I need game recommendations! I’ve been in the mood for an isometric 2D pixel art RPG with real time combat. Doesn’t matter the setting, but I would prefer fantasy. Something with armor and swords. I’d also like to see some good customization and lots of loot. Does a game like this exist??

Maybe Ys: Origin
The more current Ys games are also great action rpgs with frenetic and fun combat, just not isometric.
The more I get people to play Ys, the sooner I get my wings.

I have yet to play it but it’s on my wishlist. I’m just waiting for a sale. I’ve been dying to play this. Especially since they keep updating it to add extra content and QoL stuff.
But if you're willing to sacrifice some of the loot and gear side of things (at least visually), then Children of Morta is a good'un.
