Is an iPhone with a clip on macro lens suitable for these kind of shots?

I don't use a clip on macro lens; I was never able to get it to work the way I wanted. These were taken using camera pro mode on my S22 and taking the photo at different focal lengths. Then I stack them together to make everything in focus.
