I was working on another mushroom cross stitch that had similar mushrooms and thought it'd be an easy one to do. I don't do it every day; I log the temps then do a bunch at once when I get a chance. But yeah crochet or knitting probably takes up much more time.

I felt the same way about trying to crochet a temp/timelapse project, so I decided to do a gem tree instead. I got a pre-made base from fire mountain gems, and I do one strand every three days (I put three clusters on each strand). It's a bit more random for color placement, but fun.
