Most people are familiar with the pink flower flag. This flag is not a replacement so much as another option. It’s also the only version we produce. For us, the flower made it harder to make sapphic pin variants. Focusing on just colors made it easier.

I also wanted it to be pretty but more accessible to sapphics that don’t prefer monochromatic pink.
1) We make pride animal pins, and it is easier to make variants with just colors rather than symbols like flowers.
2) We wanted a flag that was less high-femme-coded because it’s meant to be the flag that my butch lesbian wife and I (a bi sapphic femme) can share.
When we made this is it was to fill a need, not oust or replace. We try to be clear about that because sometimes folks would worry/wonder if it meant the flower flag was problematic. Which it’s not. It’s fine.
