I agree with you from the standpoint of our behaviors and our choices. But I think the ship has sailed on social media products being designed as social things. I wish it weren't the case, but it's clear these companies don't care about that aspect much if at all. Maybe this place will be different

Nothing made me feel this more directly than being constantly rage bombed over on Threads.

Threads is so weird, man. In the last few days, the only people who have engaged with my posts don't even follow me. It's like.. what's the point? I'm getting shown to folks irrelevant to my business, my cause, my message, who lack context and have zero interest in getting any of it.
