The 2003 Iraq invasion was the formative event that woke me up politically/made me a socialist. Mad how people think what's going on is a new or singular evil. And for a generation before it's Vietnam, and then, etc. etc.
It just went from “Early 90s Vince McMahon (evil boss backstage but nice on camera)” to “Attitude Era Mr. McMahon (evil boss all the time, wants to humiliate people who oppose him and molests women on camera)”.
