I've put off buying a new laptop for over a year as I didn't like the current processors but think the Ryzen AI Max Plus 395 is going to finally get me to buy something new once it's out in a creators edition laptop

As a developer in general I care about perf above battery but do occasionally need 5+ hours of battery. I swear I'd seen that the CPU perf went down when on battery to reduce power draw but still had similar stats to Intel while on battery.
