According to a leaked screenshot from Lyacon's VA, Sound Cadence reached out to him on behalf of the Z3 team to offer some form of compensation to continue recording for the character.

Which he previously claimed he hadn't heard anything from SC, and they had to make a PR statement about it.

While on the other side of the coin, Soldier 11's VA has stated that she has rejected role reprisals for Z3 because of her support of the strikes.

So there wasn't anything really "quiet" about it, it was only "quiet" because the player base of Z3 didn't know about it until the other day.

All of this is ultimately fine with me, as I want VAs to be protected from AI and get paid fairly for their work and all that good stuff.

Getting recast due to things moving forward without them will happen and it's disruptive. But that's what strikes are supposed to be.
