I'm no Nostradamus, but I suspect that we may soon be afforded the option of wearing devices that will scramble the ability of cameras to create facial recognition imagery. These devices might be called "VEWs" for Visual Encryption Wearables. Ironic, of course, as good names often are.

Maybe computer facial recognition has failed, but enough of his face is visible that a human who knows him can recognize him. Interesting there's no one who can recognize him.

Like others have said, he didn't dodge it when he unmasked. It seems journalists are quick to jump to conclusions. Maybe to capitalize on this. I'm surprised he wasn't caught yet. I wonder if it's hard to recognise people without seeing their hair.
