Woosh I mean I don't count myself as any master, but my no.1 bit of advice is this:
Learn your program. Watch videos, experiment, understand what the software is capable of. You'll learn quicker and make art more efficiently if you have a solid grasp on your tools from the outset.
I personally use CSP, but even as a former SAI user, both programs have so many tools and tricks built into them that can save so much time if you know how to use them effectively
Obviously don't feel like you need some encyclopedic knowledge of every tool in CSP or whatever before you can start drawing anything lol
It's more like, looking back on my own art career there's so many times I could've done something better or quicker if I had just known a certain tool existed

Also, the custom "Erase along Edge" eraser is so useful for filling in colors
