Me: *writes something educational about Japan*
Someone, inevitably: OH YEAH WELL IN AMERICA WE HAVE IT TOO! LET’S COMPARE WITH AMERICA! USA! USA! USA! I GOTTA BRING UP THE USA
Me, who is American: this is why other countries find us exhausting 😭 😭 😭

I dont get it
I get that South Americans don’t like that we call ourselves that and that Europeans and Asians call us that, but no one IRL anywhere I’ve lived uses it
So, if I were to use that term, literally nobody would know wtf I was talking about in Japan. Sorry. Have a good day.
Also speaking as a Brazilian, I know that a big part of South Americans dislike the usage of the word "America" to refer to USA, but literally they are the only country that officially have "America" in their name, so definitely it's not a misnomer
How can you say something so wrong so confidently?

Things being clean

Sounds amazing!
No cult of the ancestors combined with the prohibition of possession of weapons, they work miracles.
In addition to the uselessness of high schools 🤭
That's half tongue in cheek BTW. I've spent lots of time all over the US and love the people.
