I never really buy the distraction thing. The fact is he and in fact the US always have multiple appalling things going on. Nothing is a distraction- everything is its own disaster.

Absolutely was. That Schrodinger constitutional crisis is in full swing but because Trump world is constantly doing appalling things, the news cycle never stays with any one thing
