Ahahah. Idk, to me, this reads as top-tier kid-on-adult trolling. Self-determination means they get to be silly and roleplay all the most ludicrous solutions that adults don't allow, if they actually had to share a prized resource the odds are strong they'd have a whole-ass legal system by minute 10
And that's healthy too! So many kids need that physical feedback and exertion with their peers and it's denied to them in so many situations, no wonder they go for it the second they're allowed a bit of free will for a social experiment.
I lack the words about the state of the US right now. (Not that my country is perfect right now, it really isn’t) I am so sorry. 💔 Thank you for drawing about this ❤️
Tbh I can't imagine how else that scenario would have gone! Was there a particular outcome the adults expected? I assumed the expectation would be... well, THAT (something childish & unfortunately accurate), followed by suggestions by the scout leader that would lead to a learning experience. ?
You still have a little bit of time to civilize them. My nearly 6yo and 2.5yo often resort to the Thunder Dome to resolve issues and hoooo boy, please stop, guys.
