Idk if anyone remembers but there was a game called The Order 1886. It came out a couple months after the PS4 released and it was such a good game. It was short but I still loved it. I wish they would’ve continued the game because the ending was left on a cliffhanger.

This is going to be a weird deep cut here, but "Darkwood" by Acid Wizard Studio. The game itself is pretty sequel-proof narratively, but it would be great to see the lore and the gameplay mechanics expanded upon.

Days Gone for sure. One of the most underrated games of last gen. Bend Studios tried to pitch the sequel but Sony refused to green light it.

It didn't sell enough copies for Sony unfortunately, despite being the 8th best selling game on the PS4 the year it came out. Its alwasy been free for PS+ users on PS5, so even more people definitly played. A sequel would do very well. Focus on advertising it. Sony has been bad at that for a while.

The Secret World. It was an absolutely sublime blend of urban fantasy, horror, & mystery. Every inch of the game was dripping with atmosphere and character. The investigation missions were practically made in a lab to suit my specific interests. And they had the GALL to end on a cliffhanger!

Okami was my favorite game growing up. I wish it had a sequel but not Okamiden, while that was cute it was only in the DS and not as captivating at the original game.
