For me, it’s mostly connections with folks I can relate to. Inspiration and discovery second. Followed by dopamine harvesting from praise and validation. Follow count doesn’t matter that much to me. Not looking to monetize.

I have to say that Bluesky is the most open when it comes to communication. At least it happens between people. That's refreshing. For everything else it feels (again) like swimming in a congested sea. Maybe it just takes reframing of mind and to just float without any projected destination.

I had zero expectations. Joined with a shrug of the shoulders and a, "why not?" Figured it would be more of the same, people yelling into an empty void of self-indulgence. And it's not like that. But I never did anything without a "goal" and I question that.

I had no expectations either. Which I’m thankful for. What it “is” appears to be a dialog of some sort. A rambling connection to others perspectives. I like it so far…
