Just in case that I might want to attend a conference in the US anytime soon: I think very critically of the Trump administration and fear for fascist tendencies that overturn this longstandimg democracy.

Alarmierend: Ein französischer Forscher wollte zu einer US-Konferenz reisen - beim Einreisen musste er Handy & Laptop durchsuchen lassen. Er hatte anscheinend mit Kolleg:innen & Freund:innen eine kritische Meinung zu Trump ausgetauscht - die Einreise wurde ihm verweigert (via @profjacob.bsky.social)
