something ive always struggled with and will probably never conquer is genuine happiness as an artist, so I try to be "happy enough." things can always be better, i can always work harder. but learning to accept the "happy enough" is better than never being happy at all.

the thing about gamedev (or any development really) is that there will always be a million ways that you could have done it better, and a million ways that your way is bad… but the point is that you actually ship something.

I was always the person that made block prints for labels on home brew and went extra hard always.
I was king shit in a small world.
I thought for the longest time that I was the coolest dude. I’m just a dude and I’m very happy about it.
Also just find the shit that makes you happy. I’m a radio nerd and it’s not glamorous but it’s better than me making block print labels for home brew.
